It’s almost Halloween..Spooky.  Whets even spookier is the amount of processed and sugary food the kids eat during this time of year. I love candy (in moderation), don't take me wrong, but the amounts of candy kids eat on Halloween and after is so much. I wish people gave out healthy snacks like apple, apple sauce, and less modified food. Even organic or no GMO candies will be better than the popular kinds.

So celebrating a spooky holiday, I decided to make my Spooky chocolate protein cupcakes. They don't have sugar, or fat. The whey protein shake can be removed if you don't feel comfortable giving it to your kids. 

1 Cup of organic whole wheat flour (or GF flour) 
2 egg whites
3 scoops of whey chocolate protein
2 TBSP unsweetened apple sauce
2 TBSP soy milk (or any kind of milk) you can increase this amount if the batter is not wet enough
1 TSP vanilla

Preheat your oven to 300F. Line your cupcake pan with Halloween liners or any design you like! Mix dry ingredients together then add the wet ingredients. Stir well, and bake for 20 min or more depending on your oven
