Heart Healthy Oatmeal Cookies (Gluten-Free)
I
am so excited to finally post my first recipe!! hooray! I have been
working to make this blog happen for a while. It seemed like I always
have something to do, but two weeks ago I said, That's it no more
excesses! hop to it. I chose this oat meal cookie to be the first
recipe I post. I love oat meal way to much! you can tell from the name
of this blog :). I hope you enjoy this recipe, and I cant wait to share
more of my creations and inventions.
Heart Healthy Oatmeal Cookies
1 and ½ cups of oats
½ mashed banana
¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/8 TSP vanilla
¼ TSP baking soda
1 TBSP chopped walnuts
Pinch of cinnamon
¼ TSP baking powder
1 egg white
Orange zest
Preheat the oven to 325F. Mix the
mashed banana, apple sauce, vanilla, egg whites, cinnamon baking powder and
baking soda. Add the oats gradually and combine all ingredients. Spray the
baking sheet with olive or coconut oil. Form a ball shaped cookies; press lightly
with a fork to make a flat cookie shape. Bake for 20 min or until the top of
the cookies is golden. Cool and enjoy!
No sugar added, Healthy omega 3 and
omega 6 fats, Gluten free, and Soy free.
